Pricing questions
Why fixed prices rather than an hourly rate?
Because the risk of a misestimate should sit with the people doing the estimating. We have upgraded enough Laravel applications to price the package, not the hours. If it takes longer than we thought, that is our cost.
Which package do I need?
Run the free audit. It reads your composer.json, counts the major versions between you and current, flags abandoned packages and names the package that fits. One or two majors is a Sprint; three or more, or a lot of abandoned packages, is a Full Upgrade.
What are the GBP and EUR figures?
Rounded display equivalents so you can compare against local quotes. We invoice in USD unless we agree otherwise before the project starts.
Can a care plan start without an upgrade?
Yes, if the application is already on a supported Laravel and PHP version. If it is not, the first month of a care plan would be spent upgrading anyway, so we price that as a Sprint and start the plan afterwards.
What happens to unused care-plan hours?
They do not roll over. Each tier is sized so the included hours cover patching, monitoring and the health report with room for small changes. If you regularly need more, the next tier or a sprint is cheaper than overage.
Is there a minimum term?
Care plans have a three-month minimum, then run month to month. Fixed-price packages have no ongoing commitment at all.
Can you take over our mobile app?
If it is a Flutter app talking to a Laravel API, yes. The second-opinion review tells you where it sits on the store calendar; a Store-Compliance Sprint or Catch-up Upgrade brings it back to a shippable state at a fixed price; the Mobile module on your care plan keeps it there. The app has to be current before the module starts — the module never absorbs backlog. React Native and Expo are quoted after a paid review.
Do you build new apps?
Yes, at a fixed price after paid discovery. A Laravel internal tool or operations application, or a Flutter app for iOS and Android on a Laravel API, submitted to both stores under your own accounts. Discovery produces the scope, the data model and the fixed quote, and its fee is credited against the build. Every build proposal names the care plan that keeps the software current afterwards.
